Year Book aug ‘21/’22

The Moraine published a photo documentation of the first year.

We published a booklet with 54 pages with activities and workshops that took place the previous year. We hope to give a small insight of the diverse programs we are offering at the Moraine. How to work together in the lands of the border? This question became the main focus of all the documentation. The vision we have is big and we need to keep on working together with many people and the natural surrounding on various levels. Not only national borders, but a lot of edges, borders and boundaries we crossed, such as organizational borders, neighbor borders, power borders, individual borders, group borders, village and city borders. The 5 pillars are getting more clear by ordering the activities in the 5 different categories. Next to that we reflected on the images that were present. Some of the questions that came up while making the photo documentation: How do photo’s tell a story? How much can it say? Where does it lack the story telling quality? How can we improve our photo documentation for the coming year? How to visualize complex processes and experience that people experienced?

We are looking forward with hope and excitement for a new year of discovering and learning in the lands of the border.
